Carl-Erik Kopseng Oslo / Norway	Rhine-Neckar Tour in July 2011 (couple 25-30 y.): We adored the hotels in Oberwesel and Heidelberg, and the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel family in Oberwesel was fairytale-like. The information given was of true German quality: outstanding and very comprehensive. In overall we were very pleased with the route, the planning and the hotels that we stayed at. The beds were usually superb and far better than expected. The service provided by GCT in such short notice was of course brilliant!

Ron and Denise Flory Cedar Falls, Iowa, USA	Upper Bavaria Tour in September 2011: The cycling tour was one of our best vacations ever and in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Seeing the Bavarian Alps by bicycle was a much better experience than sitting in a bus, which I had done 33 years earlier. Every day was at least as beautiful and awe inspiring as the opening scenes from the musical "Sound of Music".

The Erickson Family Ithaca, NY, USA	Our family (2 adults and 3 children) did the Bavarian tour this summer and had a terrific time. Everything was well organized - the hotels were lovely, our luggage was always waiting for us, and the route info was detailed enough so we were never confused for long! The scenery was spectacular and although the riding was challenging it was never overwhelming. We hope to come back and do another tour!

Vicki and Walter Voros Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, Canada	We had a wonderful 10 days of cycling and sightseeing from Saarbrucken to Koblenz. We found the people in general very friendly and helpful, with many of them speaking at least some English. On the trip we were surprised to see how busy the rivers Saar and Rhine are with commerce. For us it was altogether a great experience and very good value. We would thoroughly recommend German Cycling as an efficient company and would not hesitate to use them again. The bikes and the hotels were all of very good quality and it was a pleasure to cycle along paths that were traffic free."

I will definitely recommend your services to others thinking of doing a trip like this..."

Jim Nelson Ooltewah / USA	Jim Nelson with two friends were our guests in July 2010. He wrote: We just got back to the U.S. from our Rhine-Neckar bike tour. I wanted to let you know that we had a great time while in Germany. The scenery was fantastic and the people we met along the way were really great, especially when we got lost a couple of times and they helped us get back on track. The hotels were very nice as were the hotel staff, especially Ed and Sonja at the Landgasthof Ratz in Rheinau-Helmlingen.... ...would heartily recommend German Cycling Tours to other cyclists wishing to see the Rhine-Neckar area. They wrote, as they were back at home: A most enjoyable, relaxing and well organised tour, made even better by continuous sunshine. Straightforward cycling in interesting and beautiful surroundings, with overnight stays in well selected locations avoiding tourist hotspots. We loved every minute of it!

Peter Hoffmann Vancouver / Canada	Peter Hoffmann made with his family (two children with trail-a-bikes) a shortend Upper Bavaria Tour in June/July 2010. He wrote, as they were back in Munich: "We have made it back safe and sound to Munich. Had a fabulous time – even in the heat!" And later: " The bikes were in very good condition and comfortable – not built for speed. The trail-a-bikes worked very well....Trip distances and hills were just fine for us.... Tour instructions and map book was very good and precise – much appreciated! Never got lost once. Thanks, we had an amazing trip – it was very hot."

Jacky Blank Caracas/Venezuela	Jacky Blank from Venezuela made with a companion a shortened Elbe Valley-Upstream trip after a business meeting in Berlin in October 2008: "I want to thank you for a wonderful time everything was great, at times it was difficult with the instructions but in general we had a very good time. I look forward to another trip.."

Laura and Adam Roberts Calgary/Canada	Laura and Adam Roberts - two young people from Calgary went for the Bavaria-Allgaeu Tour to Germany in September 2008 and gave the following feedback, as they were back again: "Just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time on the cycling trip through Bavaria. The weather was a bit cool but cycling up all the hills helped us stay warm! The guest houses were all wonderful with really friendly staff! We had no issues at all with the luggage transfer or bikes. Your recommendations for lunch spots were also excellent. We sampled many different beers and loved them all! Our favourite was the Franziskaner that we tried in the beer garden of the monastery. The countryside was beautiful and the cycling paths were the best we have been on."

Elisabeth Fairwether Glasgow/Scotland	Elisabeth Fairwether made with two friends the Upper-Bavaria Group Tour in August 2008: "In general, we all had a great time. We thought that we had good value for money and we have no complaints at all. Dr Peter Haase is an excellent “tour guide” – always helpful, friendly and we were always amazed that he could be just at the right place at the right time. This is one of the best holiday weeks we have had."

Linda Morey and Alex McDougald Medicine Hat Alberta/Canada	July 2008: Alex McDougald made with his daughter and other family members at first the Rhine-Neckar tour and then the Saar-Moselle tour. Alex is 79 years old! Back at home he wrote: "One of my best trips--communication between owner and clients very prompt--would be nice if owner rode a day with clients" The comment of Linda Morey was: "Germany has the best bike paths and German Cycling Tours took us on a memorable tour along the River Rheine and the River Moselle! Can’t wait to do another one!"

I understand that our individual tour was not one that you offer everybody, but we really appreciated the fact that you could organise this tour for us, as it was an area we really wanted to visit. The cycling, the hotels and the weather were just about perfect, and the problem with my sons bike was fixed with the minimum of fuss. Many thanks once again, the Beaugeards."

James Neureuther Lanesboro/Massachusettes/USA	James Neureuther made in April 2008 with his wife and two friends the Saar-Moselle Tour and wrote, as they were back at home: "We have returned home from your most wonderful tour. Everything was wonderful - even the weather! We did not get any rain while riding and had occassional sun at many times. The Hotels were very nice and the breakfast was overwhelming each day. We enjoyed every minute of the tour. So many nice little villages and towns. The Hotels always moved our bags and had a secure place to keep the bicycles each night. No problems with the bicycles - only one flat tire which we patched. The bike path through the Saar loop was closed for construction of a rock falling net but we cycled through without being challenged. The bicycle paths are so nice. Germany has so many miles of wonderful paths. We wish the same was true in the USA. We all agree that German Cycling Tours is the best and we are eager to take another trip sometime in the future. I am happy to recommend German Cycling Tours to everyone we know.... ... Lorraine Connell Australia	Lorraine Connell made a shortened individual Rhine-Neckar Tour in March 2008 and wrote, as she was back at home: "Thank you for organising everything so well. The bike was wonderful as were all the attachments. And it was so lovely to see my bags at each hotel. The accomodation was great - all very different but very comfortable and lovely food and company..."

Faye Helstrom Oshkosh/WI	Faye Helstrom wrote about the Rhine Valley group tour made in September 2007: It was great biking through the apple orchards, vineyards, and little villages. Best of all, there weren’t rows of t-shirt & souvenir vendors along the way.

Paul Beyer Fairfield, USA	Paul Beyer commented his Family-Elbe-Valley trip in August 2007: This was one of the best trips we’ve been on. We will tell our friends and colleagues about GCT. This is a fabulous way to see Germany.
